What should I talk about?
Anything that matters to you. Your coach leads if you'd like, and follows when you bring up something you need English for.
Updated
Anything you'd talk about in real life. You don't need to plan: your coach asks questions and keeps the conversation going.
Let your coach lead
Just answer. Your coach chooses what to practice next based on what you've talked about, what you're working on, and anything you told them is coming up.
Bring your own topic
Talk about what you actually need English for:
- your job, your projects, a meeting next week
- an interview you're preparing for
- your day, your plans, your family, your city
- a trip, a phone call, a conversation you're nervous about
The more your coach knows about your life, the more useful the practice. Tell them about your goals in your own words, for example: "I have a job interview in English on Friday."
Each coach has favorite topics
When you open the coach picker, each coach shows what they like to talk about. Rafa likes cooking and music, Marta likes business and the news, Isabel likes TV shows and animals, Felipe likes travel and sports, and Eric likes technology and music. They'll still talk about whatever you need.
