How can I get more personalized practice?
Tell your coach about your goals, your work and what's coming up. The more your coach knows, the closer the practice is to your real life.
Updated
Your coach builds practice around what you tell them. A few things make a big difference:
- Say why you're learning. "I need English for meetings with my team in the US."
- Mention what's coming up, with the date. "I have an interview on the 14th." Your coach keeps it in mind, and Event prep notifications remind you the night before and the morning of.
- Say how you like to be coached. "Correct me more," "Give me harder questions," or "Let's go slower" all count.
- Talk about your real life. Your job, your city, your plans. Practice works best with the sentences you'll actually use.
- Save the words you want to keep. Your coach brings them back. See How do saved words work?
