How do I make my coach speak slower?
Open Conversation settings at the top of Talk and move Voice speed toward Slower. It changes right away, even mid-reply.

- In Talk, tap Conversation settings (the button at the top right).
- Move Voice speed toward Slower, or toward Faster. It goes from 0.75× to 1.5×, and 1× is normal.
The change applies right away, even to a reply that's playing. The voice keeps its natural pitch.
Good to know
- The speed is saved on this device. If you use Verbalta on another phone or computer, set it there too.
- It also changes the speed when you play back your own recording.
Other conversation settings
In the same place you can turn on or off:
- Play your coach's replies out loud, so new replies play by themselves while you're practicing.
- Show your coach's words. Turn it off for listening practice: each reply then shows a Show text button.
