How do I choose or change my coach?
Tap your coach's picture at the top of Talk, or go to Account > Settings > Coach, and pick who you want to practice with.

Everyone starts with Rafa. After your first few exchanges, Verbalta shows you all the coaches once so you can choose. You can change anytime after that.
Change your coach
- In Talk, tap your coach's picture at the top of the screen. You can also go to Account > Settings and tap Change coach.
- Tap a coach to see what they're like, and tap Hear voice to listen to them.
- Tap Choose with their name.
If you're in the middle of a session, your new coach takes over from your next session. If not, you're practicing with them right away. The confirmation tells you which.
The coaches
- Rafa: patient and clear. Gives you time to answer.
- Marta: direct, step by step. Short, clear sentences, then a little challenge.
- Isabel: conversation with humor. Talks about what interests you.
- Felipe: for your next conversation. Rehearses a call, an interview or an everyday situation with you.
- Eric: ideas that are easy to follow. Helps you explain an idea clearly.
Every coach corrects the same way, one thing at a time, and all of them can explain in Spanish or Portuguese.
Do I lose anything?
No. Your progress, saved words and everything your coach has learned about you stay with you. See What happens when I change coaches?
