How do I start my first conversation?
Sign in, allow the microphone, and tap to talk. Your first conversation takes about three minutes and needs no preparation.

Your first conversation starts as soon as you're signed in. There's nothing to prepare.
- Sign in at app.verbalta.com. You land on Talk.
- Read your coach's first messages. They explain how it works, then ask you something simple.
- Tap the microphone. The first time, your coach asks for your microphone: tap Turn on microphone, then allow it when your browser asks.
- Answer out loud. Speak however it comes out: mistakes are welcome.
- Tap the microphone again to send. Your coach replies in a moment.
Your coach may also show a few buttons to tap, for example to choose what you'd like to work on first or when you'd like a reminder. Tap the one that fits.
Tips for the first time
- Find a quiet place, or use headphones with a microphone.
- One recording can be up to two minutes. Short answers are perfectly fine.
- Changed your mind before sending? Tap the X next to the microphone to throw the recording away.
