I started on WhatsApp. How do I use the Verbalta app?
If you already practice on WhatsApp, you can keep going there. To use the app with the same account, here's what to do.
Updated
If you already practice with Verbalta on WhatsApp, nothing changes there: it's the same coach and the same account. You can keep practicing on WhatsApp.
The Verbalta app at app.verbalta.com is where Verbalta lives now. New learners start in the app, and you can't start a new account on WhatsApp.
Use the app with your WhatsApp account
The app signs people in with an email address, Google or a passkey. It no longer signs in with a phone number and a text message.
- Already signed in to the app on a device? Go to Account > Settings, tap Change my email, and add your email address. From then on, that email signs you in to the same account, with your conversations, progress, saved words and plan.
- Not signed in anywhere? Write to support@verbalta.com or use the contact form, and tell us the phone number you use on WhatsApp and the email you'd like to sign in with. A person will reply.
Please don't sign up again with a new email in the meantime: that creates a separate, empty account, and your history from WhatsApp won't be in it.
