How does Verbalta know what I need to work on?
Your coach notices what comes up more than once when you speak and keeps track of it. You can see it all in Progress > Working on.
Updated
Your coach listens for things that come up more than once in your own speech, like a grammar pattern, a word, or a sound. One slip isn't enough to count: something shows up only once your coach has heard it more than once.
See what your coach is tracking
Go to Progress > Working on. You can also get there from Account > Settings, under what your coach remembers. Things are grouped by how they're going:
- Settled: you've used these right enough times, in new conversations, that your coach has stopped listening for them.
- Came back: you'd gotten past these once, and they turned up again. That's normal.
- Still working on: things your coach has heard more than once. Your coach brings them up when the moment fits.
Each one shows what you said and the more natural way to say it.
How it shapes your practice
Your coach picks the next thing to work on from this list, one at a time, and brings it up in conversation when it fits. There's nothing for you to manage.
If your coach misheard
Tap Not what I said on the Feedback card, and that correction is set aside.
