What does my coach remember about me?
Your coach remembers your goals, what you're working on, words you saved and what's coming up, so each conversation builds on the last.
Updated
Your coach remembers what helps your practice, so you don't have to start from zero every time.
What your coach keeps in mind
- Your name, as it appears in Account > Settings > Your name.
- Your goals and the situations you need English for, like interviews or meetings.
- What you're working on: the patterns your coach has heard more than once, and the ones you've settled.
- Words you saved.
- Things coming up, like an interview date you mentioned.
- How you like to be coached, if you've told your coach, for example "correct me more".
- A short summary of your conversations, updated at the end of each session.
See it
The patterns your coach is tracking are in Progress > Working on. You can also open them from Account > Settings under What your coach remembers. Your saved words are in Progress > Words you saved, and every past session is in Progress > Sessions.
Change it
Tell your coach about new goals, or how you'd like to be coached, for example "I'd like more corrections." To change the name your coach calls you, see How do I change my name?
When you change coaches
Your new coach knows everything your previous one did. Memory belongs to you, not to a coach. See What happens when I change coaches?
