How do I download my data?
Go to Account > Settings > Your data and tap Download. You get one file with your conversations, corrections, progress and settings.
Updated
- Go to Account > Settings.
- Under Your data, find Download your data and tap Download.
- Wait while it says Preparing your file….
- When it's ready, your browser saves a file called verbalta-export.json, and the page tells you to look for it in your downloads.
What's in the file
Your conversations, corrections, progress and settings, in one file. It's a JSON file: a plain text format that other programs can read. You can open it with a text editor.
The audio itself isn't in the file, which is text only. If you've chosen to keep any recordings (Account > Settings > Kept recordings), the file lists each one with a link that plays it for about an hour.
If it doesn't download
You'll see That didn't download. Let's try once more. Tap Download again. On a phone, check your browser's downloads or the Files app.
